Engineering interpretation
Engineering interpretation: the disclosed role is engineering, procurement and construction management, not a single-turnkey EPC award. Plant capacity, mine life and production timing are project design/forecast parameters; commissioning and operation were prospective in this release.
Delivery responsibilities
Under EPCM, the engineering firm coordinates design, procurement and construction management while the owner’s contracts define who supplies and builds each package. Procurement records, drawing revisions and site work need a common technical baseline. Acceptance responsibilities should cover equipment testing, quality records and commissioning interfaces. A management appointment therefore needs to be read with its authorized work scope; it does not establish a fixed-price turnkey commitment or prove that the facility is already producing at its planned rate.
