Access Radio reported on 5 October that JEDCO published its week-three rationing schedule for 1–8 October. The daily load shedding runs from 17:00 to 00:00, with affected feeders and neighborhoods changing by day.
Maintenance and customer guidance
The rationing is tied to a major power-plant overhaul scheduled from 15 September to 15 October 2026. JEDCO asked customers to plan activities and charge essential devices in advance; the company is a partnership between EZRA Construction and Development Group and the South Sudan Electricity Corporation.
