H&MV Engineering Establishes North American HQ in Dallas, Unveiling 1,000 High-Voltage Jobs for Data Center Substation Growth

Following a €1.4 billion enterprise valuation, the Limerick-headquartered high-voltage specialist expands into Texas, creating 1,000 engineering and substation construction roles to deliver turnkey 138 kV to 345 kV grid connections for AI hyperscalers.

Dallas Headquarters Anchoring U.S. Utility and Hyperscale Expansion

Global high-voltage electrical engineering specialist H&MV Engineering has formally established its North American corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas, at 3131 McKinney Avenue. The expansion plan outlines the creation of 1,000 high-skilled engineering, project management, and field construction jobs over the next five years.

The move follows a major institutional investment that valued the Irish firm at approximately €1.4 billion, providing significant growth capital to accelerate high-voltage substation delivery across North American data center clusters.

Turnkey High-Voltage Engineering from 138 kV to 345 kV Substations

Building upon its acquisition of Amarillo-based Cooke Power Services, H&MV Engineering specializes in the turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 138 kV, 230 kV, and 345 kV air-insulated (AIS) and gas-insulated (GIS) substations.

With artificial intelligence data centers in ERCOT and neighboring utility jurisdictions requiring gigawatt-scale dedicated grid interconnects, the company provides end-to-end design, transformer installation, protection and control commissioning, and energization testing.
