Industrial Cogeneration Interconnection
The new 380 kV gas-insulated substation links the combined-cycle cogeneration facility to the national grid via 32 km of underground transmission cable.
2 generator step-up transformers rated at 250 MVA each elevate generated voltage from 18 kV to 380 kV with continuous online oil condition monitoring.
Thermal Efficiency and Steam Export Integration
The cogeneration complex achieves 82 % overall thermal efficiency by generating 420 MW of power while exporting high-pressure steam to processing units.
High-speed differential protection relays isolate any internal faults in less than 35 ms, ensuring zero disruption to critical processing trains.
