Offshore-to-Onshore 380 kV Transmission Link
The transmission circuit extends 85 km across marine and desert terrain to connect with a 380 kV gas-insulated substation on the eastern coast.
Cross-linked polyethylene insulation with optical fiber temperature sensors allows continuous monitoring of subsea cable core temperature.
High Reliability Transformers and Environmental Protection
3 generator step-up transformers rated at 350 MVA each with hermetically sealed tanks and marine-grade coatings have been energized at the coastal terminal.
The cogeneration plant captures industrial exhaust heat to supply process steam and export surplus electric power into the national grid.
