Financing structure still under discussion
El Post Energético reported on 5 October that Argentine officials presented the AMBA I high-voltage transmission expansion at the Inter-American Development Bank. The planned public-works concession would require the winner to build and operate the lines for 15 years.
Bid terms remain incomplete
The tender documents contemplate a BID guarantee to support the concession and help the builder obtain financing. The report says bidders still lacked a maximum tariff and final guarantee details, so the financing package and tender terms remained unsettled at publication.
