Peter Tompkins has been Downer Managing Director and CEO since 27 February 2023. He joined Downer in 2008 and became general counsel in 2010, later serving as Chief Operating Officer; before returning to Downer leadership he was CEO and Managing Director of Spotless Group Holdings. He holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Deakin University.
