Argentina’s Official Gazette published Resolution 275/2026 on 6 October. It authorizes YPF Energía Eléctrica to participate with the Loma Campana I thermal plant as a Generating Agent in the wholesale electricity market, effective 1 September 2026.

Physical connection is unchanged
The measure removes the plant as a node in YPF’s distributed self-generation arrangement but keeps its existing connection to the SADI. The resolution changes the plant’s commercial market configuration; it does not announce new construction or a change in installed capacity.
