## Reported scope and milestone

YIT: The 16 September 2025 notice said YIT and eQ Community Properties had agreed with the City of Helsinki on a school, daycare center and youth facility for the Hermanninranta area.

## Engineering interpretation

YIT is the property builder; eQ Community Properties Fund is the owner and landlord, and Helsinki is the public-service user. The source describes an agreed development arrangement, not an energy project.

## Delivery responsibilities

The reported construction package defines the contractor’s delivery responsibilities. Civil works, building services, installation and commissioning may sit with different contractors or joint-venture partners. The full project budget is distinct from an individual contractor’s award. Contract award, site mobilization, practical completion and operation are separate milestones; planned dates and capacity remain prospective until the owner confirms delivery. The source-defined scope therefore matters when comparing a civil contractor, a construction manager and an integrated design-and-build provider.
