# WETEX opens in Dubai with 3,000 exhibitors

Dubai’s 28th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition opened at Dubai World Trade Centre with 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries, 13 international pavilions and 60 local and international sponsors. DEWA displayed solar, storage, hydrogen, desalination, pumped-storage hydropower and AI-enabled gas-turbine projects.

DEWA also outlined the planned Solar Park Phase 7: 2,000 MW of photovoltaic capacity and 1,400 MW of battery storage for 6 hours, equivalent to 8,400 MWh.
