Syria joins World Food Forum talks on agriculture and food security

Syrian representatives took part in the 2026 World Food Forum in Rome to discuss cooperation on agriculture, food security and sustainable development. The Food and Agriculture Organization organized the event at its headquarters and online from 8 to 16 October. Syria’s delegation included an assistant agriculture minister responsible for plant resources and the country’s permanent representative to UN agencies in Rome.
