A build-operate-transfer deal covers facilities with combined capacity of 3,000 tonnes a day.

Syria’s Grain Establishment signed an MoU with Al-Jaraki Investment to rehabilitate, upgrade and operate six mills under a build-operate-transfer arrangement. The plan covers production lines, equipment, control systems, energy efficiency, maintenance, quality measures and staff training. The six mills have a combined stated capacity of 3,000 tonnes per day; the parties gave no investment value or implementation schedule.
