Syrian 21-karat gold price rises by SYP 50

SANA reported October 19 that Syria’s precious-metals authority raised the 21-karat selling price by 50 Syrian pounds to SYP 16,500 per gram; the buying price was SYP 16,200. The report also cited Reuters data showing spot gold at USD 4,172.87 an ounce on Monday, October 19.
