Syrian Post sent its first outbound parcel batch to the United States, the Netherlands, Sweden, Algeria and Qatar after a break of more than 10 years. A Damascus postal official said delivery takes about 48 hours; parcels are screened and cleared through customs before transfer to Syrian Airlines cargo. This dispatch is distinct from the broader service-resumption announcement on 1 October. International inbound parcels had resumed on 1 July through Damascus International Airport.
