Syria reports nine-month stone output of 357,000 tonnes
Agency also reports marble products in square metres and 199 active quarries

The General Organization for Geology and Mineral Resources reported about 357,000 tonnes of cut and facing stone output from January through September 2026. It separately reported 864 square metres of marble slabs and 269 square metres of marble pieces for facing and decoration over the same nine-month period. The organization listed 199 active quarries across Syria and said it planned to expand quarry investment and rehabilitate or upgrade processing plants, without setting a target or completion date.
