Syria’s Directorate for Protection of Commercial and Industrial Property is preparing an electronic trademark-registration system. Director Abdel Majid al-Abdo said the programme was about 80% complete and undergoing tests before launch. The directorate also plans to activate a queue-management system alongside the electronic service. No launch date was given.
