A Syrian businessman launched the Horan One investment and urban-development project near Daraa’s Panorama roundabout. The plan comprises an 18-storey residential tower and a separate 3-storey building with a shopping mall, specialist clinics and other facilities. The project presenter said implementation would take 24 months. The governor described it as the first of further projects the province hopes to attract; the development was not reported as complete.
