# SRG Global: North Pine Dam staged strengthening

## Engineering interpretation

Engineering interpretation: the post-tensioned anchors create a direct load path from the dam wall into the foundation, increasing resistance to destabilising actions. Installation sequencing, drilling accuracy, grouting and stressing control are critical because the anchors must transfer force into competent foundation material without compromising the existing structure.
