Talks with Nilepet and partners
Access Radio reported on 4 October that Caretaker Petroleum Minister Awow Daniel Chuang chaired a meeting with production partners, including Nile Petroleum Corporation Managing Director Emmanuel Athiei and technical advisers. Discussions covered the business environment, sustainable production and domestic and foreign investment.
Action plan under preparation
Awow said the ministry was preparing a comprehensive action plan for coming months to address outstanding investment and operational issues. He also called for stronger cooperation with Nilepet and strategic partners in China, India and Egypt, and for better human and technical capacity.
