Energy expert warns buyers about substandard solar components
Energy consultant Orebiyi Godfrey urged consumers to check solar equipment quality, saying substandard panels and components can underperform and shorten system life. He cited an estimate that as many as 40% of components on the market may fall below international standards, attributing that figure to the Nigerian Energy Support Programme. The estimate was not independently measured in the NAN report.
