SNOC and Equinor explore downstream energy cooperation
Sharjah National Oil Corporation and Norway’s Equinor signed a memorandum on 20 October to explore downstream opportunities. Their assessment will cover storage, infrastructure, logistics, trading, supply and shipping for liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas liquids and other oil and gas products.
The companies will also consider selected energy-transition opportunities and optimisation of UAE petrochemical storage facilities. The MoU starts an evaluation process and is not a final investment decision or a binding supply contract.
