## Engineering perspective

Electrolyzer modularity must be coordinated with electrical supply, water treatment and hydrogen handling. A standardized platform can simplify package definition, but plant performance still depends on site conditions and operating strategy.

Engineering interpretation: product ratings and test results should be read within their stated operating conditions. Selection also depends on utility interfaces, protection, maintenance and integration with the receiving plant. Distinguish factory acceptance from installation and site commissioning; the equipment supplier’s scope does not automatically include the complete facility, upstream energy supply or the owner’s wider operating performance.
