Trial at Bluewaters
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority began a four-week trial of the Glydways automated transit system at Bluewaters on 11 October. The system uses autonomous electric vehicles on dedicated guideways, with the trial intended to assess technical and operational performance. RTA said it will also study potential routes linking Metro stations with destinations including Bluewaters and Jumeirah Village Circle; those routes remain under study, not approved operating services.
