Work starts 5 October
Petrobras announced on 2 October that maintenance at Repar in Araucária will begin on 5 October and run through the second half of November. The company plans to invest about R$800 million and mobilize around 6,000 workers at peak.
Refinery units in scope
Work includes the fluid catalytic cracking unit and diesel and gasoline hydrotreating units, plus auxiliaries. Petrobras says logistics planning will maintain market supply during the shutdown; about 85% of Repar output serves southern Brazilian markets.
