Orascom Construction PLC

Engineering perspective

Data-center construction must coordinate electrical capacity, cooling and phased building readiness. Proposed closed-loop cooling and sustainability features are design intentions at groundbreaking; their operating performance requires later commissioning and verified measurements.

Engineering interpretation: project comparisons should examine the package boundary, interfaces and acceptance criteria. Construction progress, equipment installation and commercial operation are separate milestones. The owner’s overall investment or asset capacity should therefore be distinguished from the contractor’s assigned work, with commissioning responsibilities and operational handover assessed from the relevant contract and completion evidence.
