## Engineering perspective

Museum delivery combines public access, building systems and sensitive exhibition environments. The opening is a public-use milestone; contractor participation and BESIX ownership links should remain distinct from ownership of the museum itself.

Engineering interpretation: project comparisons should examine the package boundary, interfaces and acceptance criteria. Construction progress, equipment installation and commercial operation are separate milestones. The owner’s overall investment or asset capacity should therefore be distinguished from the contractor’s assigned work, with commissioning responsibilities and operational handover assessed from the relevant contract and completion evidence.
