A wet September lifts southern inflow projections

A 5 October report on ONS’s weekly operating outlook said natural inflows for October were projected at 244% of the long-term average in the South and 128% in the Southeast/Centre-West. Forecasts were lower in the Northeast at 66% and in the North at 48%. ONS linked the stronger southern outlook to September’s highest rainfall across the system in 17 years.
