## Engineering interpretation

Engineering interpretation: the portfolio combines mine-access earthworks, public-road reconstruction and a marine wharf connection, so geotechnical, traffic and marine interfaces require separate controls. A joint venture, alliance or integrated delivery arrangement distributes responsibility among organizations with different technical and contractual roles. The useful reference is the package each participant actually manages, designs or constructs. Interface registers and acceptance plans should connect those packages without erasing their boundaries.
