## Port services move inland

The Authority News reported on 4 October that Nigerian Ports Authority chief Abubakar Dantsoho said Inland Dry Ports had recently come under NPA management. The change is intended to give northern and central exporters port clearance and documentation closer to production areas.

## Export processing terminals

NPA said dedicated terminals provide sorting, packaging, quality certification and customs documentation before cargo moves to seaports. Dantsoho said the measures supported exports including solid minerals; the report did not provide mineral-specific volumes.
