TRÏNŪ Bonded Warehouse, a subsidiary of Sirlyon Limited, commissioned a customs-licensed facility in Kuje, Abuja, with initial capacity to store about 700 containers at a time. It is intended to provide storage, processing and customs-clearance services closer to Abuja and northern Nigerian markets; cargo can move under customs bond, with applicable duties paid on release.
The company expects the facility to create more than 5,000 direct and indirect job opportunities over 5 years; this is a projection, not jobs already created. Services include container and general-cargo storage, customs documentation and clearance support, cargo handling and consolidation, and accommodation for Customs and other regulators.
