Shell Petroleum B.V. agreed to sell its full interest in Shell Nigeria Gas Group to Nigerian company Vaaris Energy. Financial terms were not disclosed. The business operates about 170 km of pipeline in Ogun, Abia and Rivers states and serves more than 130 connected commercial and industrial customers.
The sale remains subject to regulatory conditions and approvals. Shell Nigeria Gas is to remain part of Shell and serve customers as usual until closing.
