NNPC Ltd postponed its two-day Contractors and Partners CEO HSE Conference as a precaution after an Ebola case was confirmed in Abuja. The meeting had been scheduled for October 21–22, and NNPC said a new date would be announced later.
The gathering brings supplier-company leaders and NNPC management together to discuss health, safety and environmental standards. The company did not say how many people had registered or whether delegates had arrived.
