Eko Power said it holds a Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC) distribution licence covering southern parts of Lagos State. The company said NERC began transferring Lagos retail-distribution oversight to LASERC in December 2024 and the state regulator assumed that authority in June 2025.
Eko Power described itself as the successor distribution company under the state framework and said it publishes customer-band and feeder service-level performance information. The statement clarifies an existing licence and service obligations; it is not a new licence issuance.
