# Ebenco refinery cleared to introduce hydrocarbons

Ebenco said NMDPRA authorized hydrocarbons to be introduced into the Ebenco Refinery after a satisfactory pre-start-up safety audit on September 14–15. The authorization letter, dated October 12, makes introduction subject to commissioning and reliability-testing conditions.

The planned next stage is a 90-day reliability test, including a 72-hour continuous performance test monitored by NMDPRA. During commissioning, product offtake requires prior approval, and Ebenco must provide daily reports on activities, operating performance and product quality.
