CCEE releases eligible plants

The MME said on 5 October that CCEE had published the eligibility list for wind and solar plants seeking to join the curtailment-compensation mechanism. ONS assessed the applications against Portaria Normativa MME No. 140/2026. The mechanism covers eligible cuts recorded from 1 September 2023 through 25 November 2025 under Law No. 15.269/2025.

A further commitment is still required

An eligible classification lets a plant proceed in the process, but compensation depends on signing a commitment term. The list follows the launch of the CELEBRA registration system and the publication of operating rules. The October announcement concerns implementation of compensation for earlier events; it does not mean all listed plants have already received funds.
