> Lycopodium announced an EPCM contract award from Resolute Mining for the Doropo Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, valued at approximately A\$196 million. Its scope covers a 4.9 Mtpa processing plant and associated non-process infrastructure. The EPCM scope includes engineering, design, procurement, equipment supply, construction management and commissioning, including 11 kV power reticulation, water supply, a tailings pipeline and decant return. Delivery commenced after a Limited Notice of Award in April 2026. The open-pit project is expected to operate for approximately 13 years; this is a mine-life estimate, not a completion date.

## Engineering interpretation

Engineering interpretation: the 4.9 Mtpa CIL plant is the central process facility, while the 11 kV reticulation, water supply, tailings line and decant return form linked utility and residue-management interfaces. Lycopodium’s stated EPCM scope includes equipment supply and commissioning but describes construction management, so it should not be recast as a fixed turnkey EPC delivery. The approximately 13-year mine life is an operating-life expectation, not a construction schedule.

## Delivery responsibilities

Under EPCM, the engineering firm coordinates design, procurement and construction management while the owner’s contracts define who supplies and builds each package. Procurement records, drawing revisions and site work need a common technical baseline. Acceptance responsibilities should cover equipment testing, quality records and commissioning interfaces. A management appointment therefore needs to be read with its authorized work scope; it does not establish a fixed-price turnkey commitment or prove that the facility is already producing at its planned rate.
