Output remains below the earlier level
At the Energy Intelligence Forum in London, KPC chief executive Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah told OPIS that the company was producing just over 2 million barrels a day of crude and refined products. That is above the 1.77 million b/d reported in September but below the roughly 2.6 million b/d produced before the conflict.
Export access remains the constraint
Al-Sabah said output could rise to KPC’s maximum sustainable capacity of 3 million b/d if export routes become available. Kuwait currently depends on its own tanker fleet, which can move about 2.1–2.2 million b/d of crude and products. OPIS attributed the figures to the CEO’s remarks at the forum.
