GCC industrial investment totals about $426 billion, statistics show
Statistics reported by the GCC Statistical Centre on 18 October put industrial investment across the Gulf at approximately US$426 billion, with nearly 22,000 factories and more than 1.7 million industrial workers as of July 2026. Manufacturing represented about 13% of GCC GDP in 2025.
Industrial goods made up about 69% of total GCC exports. The figures cover the six-country region and do not provide a UAE-only breakdown; they describe the wider market for manufacturing and industrial materials.
