Fuel-oil flows improve

In a report dated 1 October, Argaam cited Kpler and shipping data showing that UAE fuel-oil imports reached 2.6 million tonnes in Q3, compared with 845,000 tonnes in Q2. September imports were 856,000 tonnes. Kpler data put UAE fuel-oil exports above 1.4 million tonnes in September, their highest level in more than a year, with most shipments going to Southeast Asia.

Bunkering still below earlier levels

Commercial sources told Argaam that Fujairah marine-fuel sales had rebounded in recent weeks but remained below pre-war levels. The report also cited S&P Global Commodity Insights data showing onshore residual stocks averaging 4.5 million barrels per week in September, versus 3.9 million in August and around 9 million before the disruption.
