## FCT farmers call for equipment and local food-processing support

At an October 13–14 farmers’ event, FCT representatives called for access to farmland, machinery and cottage-scale processing to strengthen food production. Their association also said tractors at a local seed-council site were unused. The report records farmers’ requests and observations; it does not describe new government funding or equipment commitments.
