## Engineering perspective

Transformer integration must accommodate bidirectional storage operation alongside solar export. Thermal duty, protection and site testing are important technical review points; equipment supply is distinct from responsibility for the entire renewable development.

Engineering interpretation: product ratings and test results should be read within their stated operating conditions. Selection also depends on utility interfaces, protection, maintenance and integration with the receiving plant. Distinguish factory acceptance from installation and site commissioning; the equipment supplier’s scope does not automatically include the complete facility, upstream energy supply or the owner’s wider operating performance.
