NNPC activates response after gas-pipeline explosion in Rivers
NNPC said it activated an emergency response after an October 15 explosion on a Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company pipeline at Aleto, Eleme, Rivers State. The company said it isolated the affected segment and was assessing the cause and impact with relevant authorities and community representatives. Reports of injuries and property damage were still under assessment in the October 16 release.
