Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs received the Dubai-it Award for its Red Carpet Travel Corridor at Dubai International Airport. The authority says the AI and biometric system verifies identities and completes entry and exit procedures without document presentation or stopping, in under five seconds. It can process up to ten passengers simultaneously; the reported capacity and satisfaction metrics are attributed to the project announcement.
