# DRC regulator and AfDB validate new electricity-sector tools

## Regulatory tools validated

ARE reported on 1 October that it and the African Development Bank had closed a series of workshops on 25 September in Kinshasa. National experts, regulators and international consultants reviewed deliverables under the AESTAP-RDC technical-assistance project.

## Clearer rules for the market

The work aims to establish standards that can attract private investment while protecting consumers.
