Regulatory tools validated
ARE reported on 1 October that it and the African Development Bank had closed a series of workshops on 25 September in Kinshasa. National experts, regulators and international consultants reviewed deliverables under the AESTAP-RDC technical-assistance project.

Clearer rules for the market
The work aims to establish standards that can attract private investment while protecting consumers. ARE director-general Soraya Aziz-Moto described the tools as practical operating foundations for the country’s evolving electricity market; the report records validated project outputs, not a new tariff decision.
