Nigeria’s October bond auction draws ₦2.02 trillion in allotments as yields rise

The Debt Management Office allotted ₦1.22 trillion competitively and a further ₦800 billion non-competitively at its October 19 federal bond auction.

The total was about 63.5% above September’s competitive allotment. Nairametrics said the DMO accepted higher stop rates on 10- and 15-year bonds; the allotment figures reflect government borrowing through this auction.
