Delivery considerations

Solar delivery links module installation to civil works, electrical collection, controls and the grid connection. The interface with existing assets is especially important where a project shares a switchyard or supplies an industrial site. Storage adds its own control and protection requirements rather than simply increasing solar output. For procurement, the relevant evidence is the contractor’s defined scope and the stated delivery milestone. Module capacity, export capacity and stored energy measure different things and should retain their original units.
