Reported scope and milestone
Aurecon provides all engineering services in a preferred alliance with Built/Sacyr and Architectus. Its sub-alliance scope includes design management, engineering and stakeholder engagement. Phase 1 PADA/design development and early works began within Western Australia’s A$1500 million Building Hospitals Fund programme.
Engineering interpretation
Aurecon’s sub-alliance is the professional design and engineering partner; Built/Sacyr form the construction alliance. Phase 1 includes project-definition and design-development activities plus early works. The A$1500 million figure is the wider state fund, not Aurecon’s contract value.
Delivery responsibilities
A joint venture, alliance or integrated delivery arrangement distributes responsibility among organizations with different technical and contractual roles. The useful reference is the package each participant actually manages, designs or constructs. Interface registers and acceptance plans should connect those packages without erasing their boundaries. Work at a shared project is not proof that one firm owns the whole contract or completed every asset. Procurement and construction reviews should retain the named partners, the recorded milestone and the distinction between delivery participation and operation.
