ATC projects a 6% decrease in 2027 transmission network rates

ATC posted its projected 2027 transmission revenue requirement on October 2. The projected network rate is approximately 6% lower than the 2026 rate, conditional on FERC approval of pending filings related to large new loads.
Large-load charges
ATC said it expects to bill $136 million related to large-load data-center projects in 2026. Its proposal would base transmission charges for large users on requested capacity and the service they receive.
