## Electricity bills adjust from October

TN reported on 1 October that new regulated electricity values took effect for October, with an average 1.64% increase in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The adjustment was formalized through regulator resolutions for Edenor and Edesur and is distinct from the separate national gas increase.

## Targeted support remains in place

The October subsidy rules retain a 200 kWh monthly base block for eligible households and an additional 25% extraordinary discount on that block. The discount applies within the focused energy-subsidy regime; it does not mean every household receives the same bill reduction.
